Mr Gorodetsky briefed the President on the socioeconomic situation in the region.
Strategic areas of the region’s development were also discussed at the meeting. Mr Gorodetsky named Novosibirsk’s enormous scientific potential as one of the region’s advantages, noting, however, that so far, this resource has not been sufficiently engaged in the region’s industrial potential. The region is currently creating conditions for building production and innovation zones.
