During his working trip to the Siberian Federal District, Vladimir Putin arrived in Omsk to hold a meeting on socioeconomic matters.
Before the meeting, the President visited Lenin Street which has been reconstructed and spoke to local residents.
In particular, the residents were interested in the President’s opinion of the restoration work. Vladimir Putin praised the efforts to upgrade the city’s historical centre.
Creating new jobs and developing industry in Omsk, previously a major industrial centre, children’s sports and public play grounds in courtyards were also discussed.
