In particular, Mr Potomsky spoke about industrial development and import substitution goals, noting that the region has modern hi-tech companies, and has scientific potential and a strong educational base at the State University – education-science-production complex. The region’s construction sector achieved figures 48.7 percent higher this year than for the same period of 2013. In the agriculture sector, there are proposals for developing dairy production by raising livestock numbers to 100,000 head of cattle and building dairy plants.
