During his visit the President will chair a series of meetings on clean-up and relief efforts following flooding in the Far East, the socioeconomic development of Primorye Territory and the prospects for domestic commercial shipbuilding.
On September 1, Mr Putin will meet with faculty, graduate and undergraduate students at the Far Eastern Federal University. He will also visit Ocean, a national children’s centre which is currently hosting more than a thousand children from Far Eastern regions affected by floods.
