On September 11–12, Vladimir Putin will make a trip to the city of Vladivostok in the Far Eastern Federal District, where he will take part in the 8th Eastern Economic Forum.
On September 11, the President will view an interactive presentation on the results achieved in the development of the Far East. The event will include a video link with residents of priority social and economic development areas who are ready to launch their production sites . Further, the President of Russia will chair a meeting, via videoconference, on the development programme of Far Eastern regions. He will listen to the report on the progress made in the construction of cultural and educational clusters in Russia. Vladimir Putin’s meeting with Governor of the Primorye Territory Oleg Kozhemyako has also been scheduled for this day.
On September 12, the President of Russia will deliver a speech at the plenary session of the EEC, in which Vice President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic Pany Yathotou will also take part. Vladimir Putin will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with heads of foreign delegations on the sidelines of the forum.
The President will also speak with moderators of the forum’s key sessions via a video conference in conclusion of the programme in Vladivostok.
