In Rostov-on-Don, the President will visit the Rostvertol Helicopter Plant, part of the Russian Helicopters Holding. Mr Putin will visit one of the plant’s workshops and see examples of the latest helicopter technology produced there.
The President will hold a meeting on the current situation and development outlook in the country’s helicopter manufacturing sector. The meeting will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Presidential Aide Andrei Belousov, Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov, Deputy Defence Minister Yury Borisov, and the directors of the Russian Helicopters Holding.
Mr Putin will also hold a meeting on socioeconomic development in Rostov Region with federal ministers, Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov, Governor of Rostov Region Vasily Golubev, and regional business leaders.
