Vladimir Putin issued instructions in connection with the wildfires in Yakutia.
Minister for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Natural Disaster Relief Yevgeny Zinichev was instructed to expand the firefighting capacities and step up aerial firefighting efforts in the republic.
The region’s officials were instructed to submit proposals on additional support measures for those affected by this emergency, including proposals on social support measures developed in cooperation with the Emergencies Ministry.
