The Governor of Saratov Region briefed the President on the socioeconomic situation in the region.
According to the governor, five new factories were put into operation in the region this year, including two metallurgical enterprises for rolled products and casting. With regard to the agro-industrial complex, the gross harvest of all crops was 3.8 million tonnes. A new airport and new housing are under construction in the region.
