Mr Radayev briefed Vladimir Putin on the region’s socioeconomic situation and the completion of several major infrastructure projects.
Mr Radayev said that the region’s industrial output growth came to 109.9 percent in 2015. Growth was around 135 percent in the processing industry. The metals sector also showed growth, and three new plants were built over the last two years. In agriculture, despite a drought that affected the region, the sunflower harvest was good, and the total volume of produce raised in greenhouses is also on the increase.
