Vladimir Putin viewed the Izvestia publishing house stand at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum describing the new Izvestia multimedia information center.
Izvestia General Director Vladimir Tyulin demonstrated to the President the main features of the new multimedia portal – Russia’s largest private multi-platform media based on the television channels REN TV and Channel Five, and Izvestia newspaper.
The Izvestia multimedia information centre is set to become a multimedia centre uniting editorial and technological opportunities of several news services and a universal platform for producing information content for television, print and the Internet.
In the President’s opinion, there will be great demand for the new resource.
Vladimir Putin wished Izvestia’s staff success.
