Vladimir Putin visited the Solnechny Dar greenhouse complex at the ECO-Culture Agro-Industrial Holding in Solnechnodolsk, Stavropol Territory.
The President, accompanied by Chairman of the ECO-Culture Agro-Industrial Holding Board of Directors Alexander Rudakov, inspected the greenhouses for cultivating tomatoes, a robot for harvesting vegetable crops, and a distribution and sorting shop.
The Solnechny Dar greenhouse complex has a year-round production cycle for cultivating vegetables under cover. Construction of the facility began in 2016, and the final (fourth) stage was launched in October 2023. Total investment in the complex creation constitutes around 37.9 billion rubles.
After the inspection, Vladimir Putin spoke with employees at the Solnechny Dar greenhouse complex over lunch.
The meeting was also attended by Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Yury Chaika, and Stavropol Territory Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
