Vladimir Putin expressed his profound condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the plane crash at Kazan airport.
After receiving a report about the plane crash, the President instructed the Government to immediately set up a commission to investigate the crash’s causes and circumstances. The relevant ministries and agencies were instructed to take immediate rescue operation measures.
A plane flying from Moscow to Kazan crashed as it landed at Kazan International Airport. According to preliminary information, 50 people died in the crash.
