Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova made a working trip to the Tver Region.
Maria Lvova-Belova met with Tver Region Governor Igor Rudenya, visited a number of children’s social and healthcare facilities: paediatric unit of the regional psychoneurological dispensary, the regional maternity hospital and the Romantik recreation camp for children. The Tver Region has joined strategic programmes of the Commissioner for Children’s Rights, including the creation of the “Children in the Family” service and teenage centres.
In addition, Maria Lvova-Belova took part in the 14th Interregional Conference on Social inistry of the Russian Orthodox Church for the dioceses of the Central Federal District. The Commissioner expressed readiness to support charity projects of the church.
