During a working visit to Vologda, the President will hold a meeting on the situation in light industry and its raw materials base and will visit the Vologda Textile Company.
The heads of the Industry and Trade Ministry, Agriculture Ministry, Federal Customs Service, and also leading designers and representatives of manufacturing and retail chains will take part in the meeting.
Vologda Textile is one of Russia’s biggest linen producers, supplying goods to markets in Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries.
In the run-up to the March 8 International Women’s Day, Mr Putin will meet with women working at Vologda Textile.
