Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Early Termination of Powers of the Yaroslavl Region Governor.
Following the request of Yaroslavl Region Governor Sergei Yastrebov for the early termination of powers and in accordance with the Federal Law On General Principles Governing the Organisation of Legislative (Representative) and Executive Bodies of State Power of the Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation, the President resolved:
1. To accept the resignation of Yaroslavl Region Governor Sergei Yastrebov at his own request.
2. To appoint Dmitry Mironov Acting Governor of the Yaroslavl Region until the next elected Governor of the Yaroslavl Region takes office.
This Executive Order shall enter into force upon its signing.
Earlier, the President issued another executive order relieving Lieutenant-General of Police Dmitry Mironov from the post of Deputy Minister of the Interior.
