The President signed an Executive Order appointing Konstantin Ilkovsky Acting Governor of Trans-Baikal Territory until the elected governor takes office.
The term of the Territory's Governor Ravil Geniatulin expires on March 1. The Acting Governor appointed by the President will hold the office until the election, which will be held on September 8, 2013.
