Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to participants in the launch ceremony of the Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Plant, and the plant staff.
The message reads, in part:
“The implementation of this large-scale, advanced project is a major event for Trans-Baikal Territory and the Russian Far East, and a weighty contribution to the development of the country’s metallurgical industry.
I am certain that the new facility, which utilises efficient technologies that comply with the world environmental standards, will give a boost to the region’s economy, create advanced jobs and solve a wide range of social problems.
I would like to thank the geologists, engineers, energy workers and other experts who put their efforts and energy into the construction and launch of the Bystrinsky Plant.”
