Political, economic, and humanitarian relations between the two countries were the subjects of discussion.
Mr Naryshkin noted, in particular, that following Azerbaijan’s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, the two countries “will undertake more work together in terms of coordinating our steps on the international stage” over the next two years.
Mr Naryshkin also noted the success of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum in October 2011, and said that Russia and Azerbaijan will work together to continue this project.
