Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino chaired a meeting of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Countering Corruption.
First Deputy Prosecutor General Alexander Buksman reported on results of cooperation with GRECO [Group of States Against Corruption], and Justice Minister Alexander Konovalov spoke about Russia’s participation in the OECD [Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development] working group on combating bribery of foreign officials.
The Presidium members also discussed problem areas in Russia’s work with these international anti-corruption organisations and set directions for further participation.
Director of the Federal Financial Monitoring Service Yury Chikhanchin presented a report on the service’s anti-corruption measures. The report notes that the service’s work has been effective and outlines areas for enhancing cooperation with state bodies on anti-corruption work.
