Presidential Adviser German Klimenko attended the Open Innovations International Forum, which was held in Skolkovo on October 16–17.
Forum participants discussed the development of digital economy, business transformation, corporations of the future and investments. German Klimenko spoke about the reduction in the number of jobs due to the rapid development of technology. He said that technological progress will increase the number of skilled jobs.
Other topics addressed at the forum included the development of telemedicine and the integration of high technology in healthcare. The Presidential Adviser pointed out that the law on telemedicine had boosted the attractiveness of healthcare as an investment destination. “We now have the necessary conditions for [attracting] investors, primarily legislation, the new legal framework. The main condition for attracting investors into this sector is a proper legal framework,” German Klimenko said.
