Presidential Adviser German Klimenko took part in a major international forum on the digital economy, the World Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Summit (WBCSummit).
Over the course of two days the WBCS Summit was attended by over 2,000 people from 68 countries including Russia, Switzerland, the United States, France, Denmark, Malta, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Pakistan, the UAE, India, Australia, Moldova, Lithuania, South Africa, and Vietnam.
The participants discussed potential joint approaches to regulating the cryptocurrency market and introducing blockchain technology in different areas: FinTech, medicine, government administration, logistics, telecommunications, smart city, industry, education, law and ICO.
In his message welcoming participants, German Klimenko noted: “The rapid growth of the modern economy cannot be achieved by conventional methods. The digital economy is evening out economic conditions and giving every country an opportunity to dramatically change its position in the global economy. Achieving national economic growth above the world average is only possible with the effective development of the digital economy.”
