Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Russian Academy of Education Magomedsalam Magomedov chaired a meeting of the Academy’s Board of Trustees.
Opening the meeting, Magomedsalam Magomedov noted that the board’s activities are important not only for the development of the Russian Academy of Education but also for the progressive development of the education system, improvement of training and education and the attitude of schoolchildren and students in Russian education institutions.
The report by Academy’s Acting President Yury Zinchenko was dedicated to the 2018 results of implementing the 2017–2020 programme for developing the Russian Academy of Education. It was noted that all the programme’s targeted performance indicators had been reached.
Minister of Science and Higher Education Mikhail Kotyukov, Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media Alexander Zharov, Rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichy, First Deputy Healthcare Minister Tatyana Yakovleva, Director of the Talent and Success Foundation Yelena Shmeleva and others took part in the discussion of the report.
As part of the meeting, an award established by the Board of Trustees of the Russian Academy of Education was presented to the winners of the competition for young scientists in education disciplines.
