Head of the Presidential Directorate for Protection of Citizens’ Constitutional Rights Maxim Travnikov chaired a meeting of the working group on implementing the Concept of the State Migration Policy for 2019–2025.
The meeting participants approved approaches to expanding the practice of issuing electronic visas and discussed draft federal laws that are to improve tests of Russian as a foreign language, and Russian history and legislation tests for foreign nationals and stateless persons.
A decision was made to set up a subgroup within the working group that will focus on improving the verification of circumstances and facts that are important for obtaining an immigration status and Russian citizenship.
