On May 30, during a visit to the People’s Republic of China of the delegation led by Aide to the President of Russia Anatoly Seryshev, meetings were held in Beijing with head of the Organisation Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Chen Xi, head of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Song Tao, and Executive Vice President of the Higher Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China He Yiting.

On May 31, talks were held with Shanghai Mayor Ying Yong in Shanghai. The Russian delegation also visited the Chinese Executive Leadership Academy Pudong and met with its Executive Vice President Cao Wenze.

During the visit, an exchange of views took place on a wide range of issues related to state personnel policy, personnel selection, assessment and placement, formation and the use of personnel pool, employment of information and communications technologies in working with personnel, as well as scientific and methodological support for related activities.

The parties discussed the main areas of further cooperation in this sphere.

The visit was organised under the Protocol on Cooperation between the Executive Office of the President of Russia and the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
