Maxim Travnikov, Head of the Presidential Directorate for Protection of Citizens’ Constitutional Rights, chaired a meeting of a working group to implement the Concept of the Russian Federation’s Migration Policy for 2019–2025.
Participants in the meeting discussed matters of streamlining the Russian Federation’s legislation on migration and citizenship, including matters regarding the implementation of the State Programme to facilitate the Voluntary Relocation of Compatriots Living Abroad to the Russian Federation.
In addition, members of the working group heard reports on involving migrant workers, as well as on the experience of the Moscow Government in fulfilling migration legislation of the Russian Federation, existing problems and ways of resolving them.
Coordinated decisions were adopted after the discussion.
