Chief of the Presidential Directorate for Protection of Citizens' Constitutional Rights Tatyana Lokatkina chaired a meeting of the working group on the implementation of the State Migration Policy Concept for 2019–2025.
During the meeting, members of the working group reviewed suggestions to be added to the new uniform regulatory act concept in the area of migration that is currently being drafted (as regards regulation of foreign labour migration). They also discussed efforts to introduce a single electronic visa in Russia effective January 1, 2021 and the need to analyse the procedure for filing by foreign nationals of applications to become citizens of the Russian Federation and the cost of services offered by organisations authorised to assist them in filing such applications.
The working group also heard proposals on creating tourism information platforms.
