First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Kiriyenko chaired a Coordinating Committee meeting on the allocation of Presidential grants for the civil society development competition. The meeting participants summed up the results of the second competition of 2021.
By decision of the Coordinating Committee, 2,144 NGOs from 81 regions will receive Presidential grants worth a total of 4.2 billion rubles.
Overall, 12,255 projects were submitted for the competition.
Including the first competition this year, the winners of which were determined on January 14, 2021, this year Presidential grants have been awarded to NGOs for 4,144 projects worth a total of 8.3 billion rubles.
In all 11 competitions from April 2017 to June 2021, the Presidential Grants Foundation has supported 20,021 socially significant projects with a total of 41.2 billion rubles.
Applications for participation in the next competition (the first competition in 2022) will be accepted from September 1 through October 15, 2021.
