The parties agreed on common projects and interaction in the interests of children, in particular, on Russia’s assistance in training specialised professionals, arranging mobile teams of doctors, teachers and psychologists to train their colleagues in South Ossetia as well as to contribute to the rehabilitation of juvenile delinquents. There are also plans to organise together with South Ossetia a joint event within the framework of the Children’s Rights Commissioner’s project The Day After Tomorrow.

In addition, the humanitarian headquarters of the Commissioner’s project Into the Hands of Children will compile a list of rehabilitation aids and equipment that the children’s social facilities in South Ossetia need, purchase them and send to the republic.
