Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order on Certain Issues Pertaining to the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation.
The Executive Order is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the Presidential Executive Office. The document establishes several new directorates within the Presidential Executive Office to focus on monitoring and analysing social processes, the national maritime policy, the formation and activities of the State Council of the Russian Federation, the state policy in the humanitarian sphere and the state policy in the defence sector. Meanwhile, the previously existing directorate responsible for supporting the activities of the State Council has been abolished.
The President has also signed Executive Order on the Staff of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation.
