The Federal Commissioner encouraged parental associations to step up their efforts in educating families about the assistance available through the children's rights commissioners. She emphasised that many families in challenging circumstances possess a significant potential for rehabilitation and, with appropriate support and proactive intervention, can recover. Since October, the Vyzov (Challenge) special project has been launched in 14 constituent entities, with the primary aim of implementing a family-preservation approach within the system for the prevention of social in a comprehensive manner.

In 2024, members of the Parental Platform participated in the National Congress of Commissioners for Children's Rights in Tyumen, the Nationwide Social Orphanhood Prevention Forum and the Congress of Commissioners for Children's Rights in Novosibirsk. They also attended an accelerator seminar focused on exploring new strategies for social orphanhood prevention and contributed as experts at various roundtable discussions.

Established in 2021, the Parental Platform is an advisory consultative body under the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights. It brings together leading public parental organisations, including the All-Russian Organisation of Parents of Children with Disabilities, the International Association of Mothers of Children with Disabilities ‘About Her,’ the Council of Mothers, the Union of Fathers, the Russian Family, and the Union of Foster Parents, Adoptive Parents, Guardians, and Trustees, along with their affiliates. As of May 2024, the Union of Families of Russia joined the Parental Platform. Together, they are developing and implementing socially significant projects and formulating solutions to critical issues concerning childhood, motherhood, and fatherhood.
