Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino chaired, via videoconference, a regular meeting of an interdepartmental working group for countering illegal financial transactions.
The meeting participants discussed the issue of improving measures to combat counterfeiting.
Reports were delivered by representatives of the Federal Security Service, the Bank of Russia, and the Interior Ministry
The participants approved approaches to countering illegal activities in the financial market of the Russian Federation, as well as an interagency plan for their implementation in 2026–2028.
The Bank of Russia and the Prosecutor General’s Office presented information and analytical materials on this issue.
Following the meeting, federal agencies were issued instructions and recommendations on organising interagency cooperation and information exchange, as well as on preparing proposals on amending certain provisions of Russian legislation.
