Meeting of the Commission for Special Certification of the Russian Federation Law Enforcement Agencies’ Personnel Applying for Senior Positions

Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Naryshkin chaired a scheduled meeting of the Commission for Special Certification of the Russian Federation Law Enforcement Agencies’ Personnel Applying for Senior Positions.

At its meeting which took place at the Kremlin, the Commission reviewed candidacies of 73 officers applying for senior positions within law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation.

Upon review, the Commission supported 60 candidates of whom six, given the duration of their service in the current posts, were recommended for appointment to new positions within the Interior Ministry regional departments.

At the Commission meeting, it was resolved that nine candidates should undergo a further certification checks, while four candidates were declined.
