Vladimir Putin presented state decorations to outstanding Russians in the Kremlin's St Catherine Hall.
Orders and medals were awarded to more than 40 people. Also, honorary titles were conferred in various sectors of national economy. Among the recipients were cultural figures, academics, scientists, athletes, military servicepersons and cosmonauts, business community representatives, and agricultural sector workers.
