Presidential Aide Igor Levitin chaired a meeting of the Presidential Commission for the Development of General Aviation and GLONASS-Based Navigation Information Technology.
Taking part in the meeting were Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Transport and Construction Yevgeny Moskvichev, Ulyanovsk Region Governor Sergei Morozov, representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, state corporations, aerospace and transport sector organisations, navigation IT companies, as well as representatives of public and professional aviation organisations.
The meeting participants discussed the concept of safe and effective integration of unmanned aviation systems and general aviation into Russia’s airspace.
They also heard reports on the development of ambulance aviation and on modelling the prospective airspace system of the Moscow Air Zone.
