President Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to Vasily Makarsky, Alexander Odintsov, Mikhail Zalomin, Andrei Gladenkov, Dana Sadkova, Alina Khristenko, Polina Troyanova and Yekaterina Zhigalova, winners of the double mini-trampoline event at the 2017 Trampoline World Championships in Sofia.
The message reads, in part:
“You have shown a real fighting spirit and met the expectations of your coaches, teammates and all Russian fans. You have proved that the Russian trampoline school is developing successfully, producing athletes who can conquer the highest peaks in sport. Keep it up!”
