Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino chaired a regular meeting of the Presidium of the Council for Countering Corruption.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection Maxim Topilin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergei Katyrin, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Savva Shipov and Prosecutor General Yury Chaika reported to the Council Presidium on the practical implementation of Article 13.3 of the Federal Law On Countering Corruption.
Following the discussion, the Ministry of Labour was instructed to work through the legislative definition of a list of organisations for which the adoption of anti-corruption measures is mandatory and expand the list of such measures with respect to organisations performing public functions or using budgetary funds.
Prosecutor General Yury Chaika and State Secretary and Deputy Head of the Federal Anti-Monopoly Service Andrei Tsarikovsky presented a report on the state of anti-corruption activities in state and municipal procurement.
The Council Presidium issued an instruction to continue to work on identifying, preventing and eliminating corruption in the procurement of goods, works and services to protect state and municipal interests.
Head of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Directorate Andrei Chobotov informed the participants about drafting a National Plan for Countering Corruption for 2018–2020.
