Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to Mikhail Azarenko, Dmitry Romanov and Maxim Stepanov, winners of the 50m running target team event at the 2018 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Changwon, South Korea.
The message reads, in part:
“There were no equals to you at this championship. You performed as a strong, focused team, and showed true morale and team spirit. And, of course, I would like to note the strong-willed victory of Mikhail Azarenko, the gold medallist in the individual 50m running target event.”
