Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to Daniil Krutskikh, who won gold at the 2020 Men's Laser Radial World Championship in Melbourne, Australia.
The message reads, in part:
”During this prestigious international competition, you showed a true champion spirit and determination, and were stronger and more confident than your experienced rivals. Your gold medal is of special importance as it is the first such award won in the Laser Radial class in the Russian national team's history. And, of course, words of deepest appreciation go to your coaches and mentors.“
