Deputy Head of the Presidential Directorate for Public Projects Alexander Zhuravsky chaired a meeting of the standing commission of the Presidential Council for Cossack Affairs on improving cooperation with Russian Cossacks.
The participants discussed issues of involving Cossacks in the activities of public agencies and reviewed proposals to expand the participation of Cossack communities and Cossack public associations in federal and regional competitions for grants to support non-profit organisations.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the All-Russian Cossack Society, the Union of Cossack Warriors of Russia and Abroad and the Presidential Executive Office.
