Mr Sarkozy informed Mr Medvedev during this second telephone conversation about his contacts with the leaders of a number of European Union countries and also with Tbilisi, taking into account Mr Medvedev’s assessment of the situation and approaches to take. The two Presidents agreed to continue the discussion in Moscow, where Mr Sarkozy will come at Mr Medvedev’s invitation at the beginning of the week.
