The two leaders discussed strengthening cooperation in Northeast and Central Asia and bilateral economic relations.
Mr Enkhbayar congratulated Mr Medvedev on his inauguration as President of Russia and said he was confident that Russia and Mongolia would continue their close cooperation.
Mr Medvedev presented Mr Enkhbayar the Pushkin Medal. The President of Mongolia was awarded the medal for his great contribution to promoting the Russian language, preserving cultural heritage and bringing cultures and peoples closer together.
