Dmitry Medvedev signed Executive Order On Early Termination of the Mandate of St Petersburg Governor
By his Executive Order, the President accepted the resignation of St Petersburg Governor Valentina Matviyenko and appointed Georgy Poltavchenko acting governor until a new official appointment is made to the post.
