Dmitry Medvedev sent his condolences to President of Turkey Abdullah Gul and the entire Turkish people following a devastating earthquake.
The President offered Mr Gul any necessary assistance in the disaster relief effort.
Mr Medvedev instructed Russia’s Emergency Situations Ministry to make preparations for providing aid to Turkey if needed.
