Accompanied by Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov and Director of the Moscow Metro Dmitry Gayev, Mr Medvedev looked at an exhibition in the station’s hall on the Moscow’s metro’s development plans.

The Slavyansky Bulvar metro station opened on September 7 – Moscow City Day. The station was built by an international construction brigade that included Georgians among its workers. Speaking with the builders, Mr Medvedev said that regardless of the recent events and the Georgian leadership’s actions, attitudes towards the Georgian people remain as warm and brotherly as ever in Russia.
