Addressing the reception, Mr Medvedev said that raising people’s living standards remains one of the main priorities for national development. He also noted that technological and intellectual progress requires creative and responsible people who can take the initiative and whose personal victories will become the foundation for common success.

Mr Medvedev thanked everyone who helped him during the election campaign and said he hoped for continued work together on carrying out common plans.
