Dmitry Medvedev took part in the 28th Russia-EU Summit meeting.
During the working meeting, the participants discussed key cooperation issues on the bilateral and international agenda, in particular, energy sector cooperation, visa-free travel between Russia and EU countries, and financial and economic situation in the eurozone.
Special attention was given to the implementation of the Partnership for Modernisation initiative and work on a new Russia-EU framework agreement.
Following the meeting, Dmitry Medvedev, European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso gave a joint news conference.
