The two Presidents discussed various aspects of Russian-Kazakhstani relations, issues concerning cooperation between border regions and inter-regional cooperation in general, and key areas of bilateral cooperation.
The talks took place at the residence of the President of Kazakhstan.
Mr Medvedev is in Aktyubinsk to take part in the fifth forum of regional leaders from Russian and Kazakhstani border regions. The forum’s theme, Innovation and High Technology, was decided during Mr Medvedev’s state visit to Kazakhstan on May 22–23.
