Regional development priorities were the main subject of discussion. Mr Dudov reported in particular on the construction of a hydropower station in the region to provide energy supplies for the mining industry, and on modernisation of the region’s transport infrastructure.

The Governor also informed the President on the state of progress in carrying out social projects in the region to raise wages, build housing and work with young people.
