Vladimir Putin and President of France Francois Hollande held talks in the Kremlin.
During a meeting in restricted format, the two leaders discussed key aspects of bilateral cooperation in trade, energy, transport, investments, and the high-tech sector, as well as humanitarian cooperation. Mr Putin and Mr Hollande also exchanged opinions on current international issues.
Following their talks, the two leaders witnessed the signing of a number of bilateral documents.
Vladimir Putin and Francois Hollande also gave a joint news conference.
