Their practical implementation contributes to the technical upgrading of law enforcement agencies and special services, whose work is directly related to national security. And it contributes, above all, to the fight against international terrorism, organised crime and the protection of state borders.”

The Specialised International Exhibition of Technical Facilities for Border Service “GRANITSA-2008” is timed to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Border Service of Russia and is organised within the International Exhibition of Police and Defence Technologies “INTERPOLITEX-2008”. The event will take place from 28 to 31 October in the All-Russia Exhibition Centre in Moscow.

Representatives from Austria, the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, the USA and Switzerland are among the participants in the exhibition.
